HELP KEEP GRADUATE FOG GOING – TAKE OUR TWO-MINUTE SURVEY NOW
If a firm has a big, bad gender pay gap, how likely are you to apply to their graduate scheme? In a job interview, would you consider asking about a company’s sexual harassment policy? Are employers taking #MeToo seriously, or are they all talk, and no action?
Times are changing – so Graduate Fog is asking all our female readers (sorry, gents!) to answer a short survey sharing what you REALLY think of the way big graduate employers have reacted to pressure to raise standards and create plenty of brilliant jobs where women can do great work (and – yes – get paid the same as the men).
If you have just graduated (or finished uni in the last five years), have strong views on this subject and would like them to be heard click here to get started.
We’ll discuss the results at the next meeting of the Graduate Fog Employers Club – the money-making bit of Graduate Fog, which powers all our campaign work.
Thank you!
There are scores of graduates to choose from all clutching a 2.1 from a redbrick. It seems ridiculous to start making demands. It is the employer that makes the demands not the potential employee. They have all the leverage.
Employers have ample opportunity to engage with students, as part of their education…including providing sponsorship and placements.
